Loved the movie, loved the story, music and colors so when I stumbled across the house at the Lego store it was a no-brainer. The house is very well done and I expect kids really enjoy play-pretending once built. I'm super pleased with this purchase and will cherish it for years to come. Disney does keep the magic alive (even for adults) and this collaboration with Lego does not disappoint. I'm pleased to see parts coming from all over the globe (Hungary, Denmark, Mexico, Czech Republic...) because this shows Lego supporting the global economy. The colors. The characters. Love it!!

This was a great purchase for our creative 4.5 year old grand daughter. (I also purchased a set of small Encanto characters for her little sister to play with and the seem to be a good match for extra characters for the house even though they are not Lego, you might see those in the pictures but did not come with the set.) I truly expected to help her a lot because it said ages 6 plus but she learned to follow the easy step-by-step, page-by-page instructions and was able to pick out the pieces one bag at a time. She put it together with adult supervision over several 30 min to 1 hour sessions and was a fun project for all. I mostly watched her and chatted with her while she did the building. She would wake up in the morning and her first words were "Lets work on our Encanto house! " Our set held together well and was a beautiful first lego project for us. I highly recommend for creative kids that know their numbers and colors and for those that have good fine motor skills. This project should be adult supervised for the younger child as I was worried a small part might get lost. She wanted to open all the bags at once but thankfully she listened to advice given. During breaks she played with her project talking to the characters. We had no missing pieces and several extra duplicate pieces including the clock that one of the character holds. I am extremely happy with this purchase and looking forward to more like this. Only suggestion would be to have more characters but maybe they will come in future sets? I hope the Lego team adds more building projects for Encanto. Thank you!

Really disappointed with this LEGO offering. Toy companies are given information from the film maker so merch is ready for the film release but sometimes the film changes a bit which may explain the heavy emphasis on the capybara! But unless there are more sets to be released, the absence of Bruno, Luisa and Isabela (Story books don’t count) is very disappointing. If you watch the film, the possibilities of a ``living Casita for LEGO build are so exciting but then we get this! Some of the friends sets and other Disney builds like Rapunzel and Cassandras’ caravan - even Sleeping Beauty’s’ cottage - had more excitement and ingenuity than this. Maybe LEGO had little faith in this fabulous film but this set is such a lazy and disinterested design. I would happily pay more for a bigger and more reverential set. How about moving staircases? Hidden rooms and passages? Sliding portraits? And more than a peephole in a nook with a miniature candle! And decent hair that doesn’t fall off! I could rant on… LEGO is a respected toy maker, they haven’t earned it with this set.

I picked up this set last year, because I loved the movie. I was sad that it was a smaller set when it could have so much more it it. But it is cute and colourful.
I see now that there is a larger set coming out. I wish you would have done so in the first place or designed the new set to expand on this one. But I’m excited to finally have so many more of the characters.
